Drama

At Sacred Heart College we stage a Musical Production each year along with our brother school, St John’s College.
​​​​​​​
Senior students also produce and direct an item for the regional Stage Challenge competition. Other drama opportunities include competing in the Sheilah Winn Shakespearean festival.

Music

A wide range of opportunities include: an extensive instrumental programme, choirs, barbershop singing, chamber music, orchestra, The Big Sing and various performances in the community.

Debating & Public Speaking

Students are encouraged to participate in the Nga Manu Korero competition each year.

We also compete annually in the prestigious O’Shea Shield competition with the 17 Catholic schools from the Wellington Archdiocese.
