HAMPTON HOUSE HOSTEL
The College has an on-site boarding hostel, Hampton
House. This caters for 75 students who attend the College.
Hampton House provides a friendly welcoming home where
care and respect are valued. The Special Character of
the College underpins our guidelines and procedures.
In working with our students we promote Gospel values
which permeate all aspects of hostel life.
Some Hampton House facilities have been rebuilt and
others upgraded since the fire in 2001. Years 9 and
10 students share accommodation and Year 11 and 12 students
have their own rooms. Year 13 students are encouraged
to have more independence; individual rooms with shared
facilities encourage the girls to take responsibility
and develop skills for living independently while still
within a secure space.
Study is an important part of the daily routine for
students and this is supported by supervision and arrangements
that suit their year levels and maturity.
Individual interests of students are supported. They
can take part in the sporting and cultural activities
within the College and arrangements can be made for
individual pursuits to be maintained.
The spiritual life of our students is fostered by student-led
prayers during our gathering times and more formally
through an opportunity to attend weekly Mass.
