Napier, Hawke's Bay

Beside the sea, yet only two hours away from the mountains Napier is a popular tourist destination. This beautiful city, famous for its architecture, is known as the Art Deco capital of the world. Napier is situated on the East Coast of the North Island and enjoys a Mediterranean climate. It has a population of 65,000 people.
